A variety of support groups are available for individuals and families through Hospice of the Valley’s Bereavement Center. Children's Groups & Simultaneous Adult Groups On-going programs designed to help grieving children and their caregivers.
Teen Group On-going program is designed to help grieving teens deal with the loss of a loved one.
Parents Forever Intensive six-week support group is designed to help grieving parents deal with the anguish of losing a child.
Empty Arms: Reaching for Hope Monthly group bringing together parents who have experienced the loss of a child during pregnancy or in the first year of life.
Caring Friends An eight-week session for adults learning to live with any loss through death.
Compassionate Friends - An on-going, monthly support group for families who have experienced the loss of a child by death.
Widowed Persons The Decatur Chapter of an on-going monthly support group for adults who have experienced the loss of a spouse by death.
Friend-To-Friend An in-school support group designed specifically for students in both Morgan and Lawrence counties.
Survivors of Suicide An on-going support group for anyone who has been affected by death due to a suicide.
Homicide Survivor's Program An on-going support group for anyone who has been affected by death due to homicide.
