ABOUT THE WATCHMAN PROGRAM |

Spiritual care and spiritual affirmation work hand-in-hand with medical and emotional care. Based on this belief, Hospice of the Valley's Watchman Program provides an exciting local mission opportunity that allows our community to work together toward a common goal - ministering to those in need.
Hospice of the Valley will work directly with you to identify and train a representative in your congregation who will then serve as a Hospice of the Valley Watchman representative. The representative will act as a Hospice partner, informing church members in need of end-of-life care about available services. These may include bereavement support services, hospice care, or simply a need for encouragement where our chaplain program can assist you and your church members in providing care for your church members in crisis.
In addition, your Watchman representative can help your congregation take advantage of Hospice of the Valley's many free educational opportunities. We offer programs for groups of all ages and all sizes.
