About Hospice of the Valley

For more than three decades, Hospice of the Valley has helped people through the most difficult times in their lives. Founded by volunteers and sustained by our community, Hospice of the Valley celebrates life by helping patients, family members, and other in need to live each day as fully as possible. The Hospice of the Valley Foundation originated through a desire to reach out into our community and meet unmet needs.

The Foundation seeks and depends on regular contributors to support Goodwill Services - the future will depend, more and more, on special gifts from individuals who want to help sustain Hospice of the Valley as a strong and stable provider of end-of-life and bereavement care. This support will allow Hospice of the Valley to be there when services are needed, where services are needed, and for as long as services are needed.

The purpose of the Hospice of the Valley Foundation is to provide an on-going source of funds that enable Hospice of the Valley to provide Goodwill services which include:

Unreimbursed Hospice Care is available to anyone who is in need of end-of-life care but is not covered by Medicare, Medicaid, or private insurance. HOTV also covers additional services that are not covered by insurance reimbursement.

The Community Bereavement Center is a central resource of support for individuals of all ages as they deal with issues of grief or loss related to death.
