Hospice of the Valley is a truly unique support system that provides exceptional care for our patients, regardless of insurance status. We are a non-profit organization that provides individualized care to patients and their families in Morgan and Lawrence Counties, serving the community since 1985.
Our team of nurses, social workers, chaplains and volunteers are what make the difference. We help our patients and their families find comfort and peace; allowing them to make the most of every moment together. Services are available to the patient and their families 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week.

Services are provided in Morgan, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Cullman, Franklin, and Marshall Counties.

Did You Know?
- We are the only nonprofit hospice serving Morgan and Lawrence Counties since 1985. We accept all patients regardless of insurance status, if they qualify for hospice service.
- We are not a corporate company. Decisions that affect our community and our services are made here, not in corporate headquarters in another area of the state or nation.
- Hospice of the Valley has the only community bereavement center available free of charge to the community.
- Not all hospice provide the same level of care. Our patients receive an average of 9 visits from our care team in a 14-day time period.
